That now it’s gotten so bad that people can’t take more then half a second to say the next item before being interrupted with is that all. For real is it so common for people to just say an item and sit silently waiting to be asked if that all. Rather then siting at the menu board try to order food and after each item being asked is that all. Disappointing because I act find using apps to order more convenient. I would have paid for sauces and not received them. So if they didn’t as or I just assumed it was good. The employees informed me they can’t actually see what sauces I requested. Get up to drive through window they ask did I want any sauces I said no just the ones I ordered with the app. Also ordered sauces with the app get charged for it. So when I got there I seen the actual menu and was disappointed with what I got because everything I wanted was still available. I had assumed they were removed from the menu so ordered different then a then what I actually wanted. The Geek hopes these stay for good. The app desperately needs work. The fried process is definitely tasty and coupled with the seasoning bath, I’d say that KFC has a winner here. These chicken fried fries had very good texture, with just enough bend that they were juicy and not stiff. Ranch was my dipping sauce of choice, but honestly these would be good with anything you’d typically dip in standard fries or chicken. With a hint of sweet and zest, and by evidence of my fingers being dredged in the stuff, they are very liberal with the coating. I myself am a big fan of loading up boardwalk fries with seasoning salt, and to me the KFC Secret Recipe is an even better coating on potatoes. Part of me wonders if the seasoning is added to the fries post oil bath, while the chicken is coated prior. Honestly, I noticed the 13 herbs and spices more on the fries than the actual chicken strips. The seasoning factor was nice and bountiful as well. But as KFC’s description points out this is by design, as these fries hit that same, beautiful chicken fried process the actual chicken does. Reminiscent of that golden Fried Chicken skin that we’ve all come to know and love, I almost thought they looked more like chicken fries than actual potatoes. The most striking thing about the Secret Recipe Fries is the color. KFC is currently offering they’re new fries in a 3 strip combo, that comes with a biscuit, a dipping sauce (which is free anyway), and a beverage for $5.49 in the Pittsburgh area. But it looks like the Colonel is sick of sitting by idly while the rest of the industry scoops up those French Fry revenues, so let’s take a look. Most people would bathe in it or even construct some weird hot tub fantasy centered around their lust for the gravy. While KFC has long had their fried potato wedges, and I personally thought they were pretty solid, their biggest side typically was their mashed potatoes and gravy. Introducing Secret Recipe Fries, KFC’s first foray into french fry fryin’! Sure, it’s taken us a while to get here, but the Colonel does things the Hard Way-even if it takes 60 years! Seasoned with a secret blend of herbs and spices and fried to crispy perfection like our world-famous chicken, Secret Recipe Fries are unrivaled in flavor. KFC’s website describes these golden strips as: KFC has finally introduced fried potatoes in the purest of ways, and we’re going to take a look and see how they stack up.
